STREAMS AND SCHEDULE
When are streams?
Most evenings. Exact times vary, so check the schedule on the Stream page or Discord. Twitch notifications are the fastest way to catch it.
How long do they run?
Usually 2-4 hours, longer if we're deep in something good. Occasional shorter co-streams.
Can I watch replays?
Yes. Full broadcasts stay on Twitch for two weeks, then move to YouTube. Highlights live on both.
What games?
Variety: competitive shooters, RPGs, story-driven games, weird indies, modded chaos. Chat sometimes picks.
COMMUNITY
What's the Discord like?
A hideout for mercs, drifters and tech-runners. Off-stream chat, events, creative work, tech help. No toxicity, no gatekeeping.
Are there rules?
Don't be a dick. Keep signal clear. No soapboxes. Respect the Operators. Break them and there are no unban appeals.
Do I verify my identity?
No. A handle is fine. You must be 18+. Participate positively and you may unlock more roles. No gate, no payment, no pressure.
Raids and events?
Regularly: charity streams, collabs with other creators, viewer-driven chaos. Announced in Discord first.
ABOUT ME
How did you get into coding?
Through modding. Soft modding Halo 2 pulled me into code, graphic design and 3D modeling. Game dev was the original dream. These days I build apps and tools for fun, and the Works page is where they end up.
Are you a competitive player?
I was, in the Halo and Gears of War days: local matchups, and an MLG event at the Javits Center in New York. Now I play variety, and still get a little sweaty when a game deserves it.
Are you a developer?
A hobbyist, with mixed results and a lot of enthusiasm. I build things because I want them to exist, and share the ones that turn out well.
THE LORE
Real streamer or roleplay?
Both. The streaming is real. The lore is a lens: a cyberpunk framework for real streaming experience. MarekCodex is me. The Codex Plexus is how we think about the community.
Do I need the lore?
No. Streams are standalone. If you're curious, read the Signal Archive.
Who is Azure?
An AI companion, evolved intelligence, and co-protagonist of the ongoing story. Full version is in the archive.
What's Squad Greyfield?
A refuge built on transparency and inclusion. Exists in the lore for now, with a full project coming.
TECH AND EXTRAS
What's your setup?
See the Rig page. OBS for streaming, with a custom scene stack refined over time.
Tech tutorials?
Occasionally, on stream during off-game segments: network setup, OBS tuning, hardware breakdowns.
Collabs or sponsors?
Email [email protected]. Selective, but always interested in genuine partnerships.
Fan art?
Please. Tag me so I see it, or post it in the Discord creative channel.
Can I support the stream?
Twitch subs and bits, YouTube Super Chat, or the Supply Drop for direct support. Never required. Merch is at gear.marekcodex.tv.
